Why is Ontario and Quebec the most popular provinces for canadian tourists?
Hummm, not sure. I guess that people visiting out west are more outdoor type and people visiting Quebec/Ontario are more looking for the historical side of things. IMO, not that many people are very active and the Rockies/west part of the country doesn’t appeal much to them. Also a lot of well known tourist attractions are located in the Eastern part of the country: CN Tower, Chateau Frontenac, Niagara Falls…
