I am traveling to Morocco for 2 weeks and then taking a 2 week vacation to Turkey and then returning to Morocco for another 2 weeks. Does anyone know if I require any special visa or re entry paperwork to leave Morocco and go to another country and then return to Morocco? I am a bit worried that Morocco immigration may not let me re enter Morocco as it isn’t my country of origin? Thanks for your help.
This is information regarding each country from the Canadian Foreign Affairs Ministry’s website:
About Morocco:
———————–
A valid Canadian passport is required for Canadians intending to visit Morocco. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your expected departure from the country.
Tourist Visa: Not required (for stays of less than 90 days)
Business Visa: Not required (for stays of less than 90 days)
Student Visa: Not required (for stays of less than 90 days)
If you plan to extend your stay in Morocco beyond 90 days, contact the local police station, Service to Foreigners Section, at least 15 days prior to the expiry of the three-month limit, in order to secure proper authorization.
About Turkey:
——————–
A valid Canadian passport is required for canadians intending to visit Turkey. The passport must be valid for at least six months following the issuance of the visa. Whatever the purpose of their stay (work, tourism, business, studies), Canadians should be in possession of a visa obtained at the nearest Turkish embassy or consulate or upon arrival at any Turkish point of entry. Those overstaying the duration of their visa should expect to pay substantial fines.

It looks like morocco is not an issue, however you need to check with the nearest Turkish Consulate in canada prior to your departure or the Turkish Consulate once you are in Morocco regarding how you can apply for a visa or whether you will be automatically issued a visa stamp at the Turkish port of entry.
As far as re-entering Morocco is concerned, you shouldn’t have an issue. It would be considered just like your initial entry.

I met someone in Ecuador while vacationing. She is 24, and has limited financial resources. I would like her to come live in Canada. I am wondering if anyone knows the best way to go about this, as I don’t know if we will be getting married yet (she wants to wait and see what it is like to live together, etc.). I know she can get a temporary visa to visit, but I heard that allows 6 months. What do we do after that? We love eachother and want to be together in Canada. Thank you all for your help!! God Bless!
Ha, good luck. I lived in Peru for two years, and saw how hard it is for Latins to be able to migrate outside of their country.
Your best bet is to get married. That should give her an automatic visa. If you’re not willing to do that yet, you can try finding her a job in canada, so she could get a work visa. Or she can try to get a tourist visa (this is easier said than done, though), which will allow her up to 6 months. You should know, though, that even those with visas can be refused entry. I know people who’ve been in the airport in Miami with a visa, but the customs agent didn’t believe them, and they were returned to Peru. It’s really unfair.
If she does make it into Canada with the tourist visa, I hate to say it, but the best way for her to be able to stay is just to… stay illegally. Find her a job where they don’t check immigration status, and if you guys work out, eventually marry her. There’s no easy way.

It is required but you can get it at the airport.
If you are going directly to Sharm and are going to stay in it, you do not need a visa. But you will not be able to make trips to Luxor or Cairo to visit the pyramids and the museum.
In any case your passport must be valid for 6 months starting the date of arrival.

what is a good canadian vacation spot to spend on the Nov. 1st weekend? I’d like to spend my birthday with a few friends out of town (away from Edmonton) and was wondering where a good place to be is.
Banff,Lake Louise,Jasper national park.

My fiancee and I are taking a 10 day vacation in the beginning on August, driving from NYC to canada. Well first off, what is there to do at Manicouagan Lake? I know it’s a 210 million year old meteor crater and it’s way up north but what is there to do besides fish and tool around in a boat? On the other hand we are considering going to Quebec City and working our way up to the tip of the Gaspe Peninsula or going through Maine and then to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. We like to camp, thus avoiding hotels and paying a fortune for room rentals and we like to hike too. We aren’t really into fancy restaurants and glitzy stuff. Odd, unique out of the way places interest us. Tourist spots with rude, fat, noisy dorks are a turn off.
well, i can’t help with the manicougan lake, but i have gone camping along the QEW and the st laurence river
you can start by driving through maine, going on to NB, NS, go across the bridge (great view, kind of frightening) to PEI, get some red sand, camp at one of the numerous parks there. then you can head back towards mainland, through NB, back into quebec. I just drove straight through to around quebec city, camped, went to quebec city, did the tourist thing (okay, it’s inevitable. it’s a tourist attraction, after all.) you can go on to Montreal, although it’s pretty similar. then into Ontario, maybe to Ottawa (though i have to admit it isnt that big of a deal if you skip ottawa). niagara falls is very awe-inspiring, if you dont mind going out of your way to drive a bit south. odd places? not many in canada. it is canada, after all. sorry for such boring suggestions, but i’m sure you’ll find lots more if you search up wildlife and outdoor programs.

Do Canadians say Vacation or Holiday?
USA people go on summer vacation, Irish and Uk people go on Summer holidays. Which do canadians do?
a little of both, mostly holidays though bc of our British heritage.

We’ll be vacationing at Niagara Falls next month, and I was wondering whether the canadian side of the Niagara River or the New York side of the river is a nicer, cleaner, and better area to stay on. Thanks!
canada wins hands down……
NF New York, is run down, dirty and has whole blocks of burned out, boarded up stores and homes. After dark the only people on the streets are hookers and drug dealers, and cops. It is a rust belt town that is 40 years behind the times.
It makes Buffalo look good, by comparison, and that is hard to do.
On the Ontario side, the city has clean and safe streets, and many things to do, and the best part is the less stressful attitude of the people, both visitors and locals. The parks alone are worth the trip, and the drive from NF Ontario to Niagara on the Lake is beautiful, with parks on both sides of the route, and many places to pull in and take photos of the river gorge .
Remember that you will need a US passport to get back INTO the USA, now. No passport, no return to the USA, Period.

Mr. Toews from Grand Prairie, AB was murdered in Mexico just days ago, and yet again, the Mexican police say it was an accident, an accidental fall. They think canadians are so stupid that we will still see Mexico as a safe vacation spot.
My brother went to Mexico and became seriously ill.
My sister went to Mexico later and was accosted by an old woman who threatened to scream for the police unless my sister bought crappy trinkets for an insanely high price.
I will never go to Mexico.
Canadians, take your sun vacations in the US Sunbelt. You get the same tropical weather year-round, without third-world danger and corruption.
I am from Grande Prairie and know of the Toews family (they are a well known family in this area. I travel to Mexico at least once a year however, due to this BS with tourists (not just Canadians) I certainly will not include Mexico in our travel plans as well as numerous business colleague’s of mine are doing the same. For those interested in Jeff Toews tragedy you may read today’s headlines in our local should you be inclined.

There is such a hate between the States & Cuba, I can’t see them welcoming the Americans with open arms when Casto passes on. So many Canadians vacation in Cuba. I think canadians & Cubans could work together, instead of Americans forces their beliefs onto the Cubans.
The Americans have no problem with Cubans, Just Castro and his totalitarian control.
